2015 Abduction and Sexual Assault

On March 29th, 2015, a woman was driven from a bar in the city of Salinas. The unknown male suspect did not take the victim home, but beat and sexually assaulted her, then he left her naked in a field outside the city. DNA was collected at the time, and the suspect in this crime is still unknown.

Modern forensics, including the use of Investigative Genetic Genealogy, could lead the Monterey County Sheriff and DA’s Office Cold Case Task Force investigators directly to the identity of the suspect.
